Responsibilities:
Key Leadership Responsibilities
Proactively search for solutions
Work effectively and flexibly within and across all Elanco R&D teams and external collaborators to achieve overall Elanco R&D deliverables

Provide and accept challenge to deliver innovative technical solutions and create an innovative culture.
Identify and utilize methods to deliver individual objectives in a high quality, timely, cost-effective manner.
Provide information to facilitate accurate and timely project and budget forecasts.
Manage project timeline and budget deliverables to facilitate delivery of the Elanco pipeline.
Coordinate, supervise, and/or conduct activities across functional areas
Key Technical Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise, scientific- or business-related, to appropriate stages of a project
Create and deliver equipment/engineering-based product messages to customers in support of marketing efforts
Identify and select CROs, establish contract agreements, and maintain a positive business collaboration
Provide oversight to external partners to assure product development aligns with the expectation of the product development strategy
Transfer diagnostic technologies from the third party developers to third party manufacturers
Transfer diagnostic technologies from the third party developers to third party manufacturers
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in EE or ME, with 5 years in design, development and/or manufacturing of complex, electronic equipment
3 years experience working with device/diagnostic products in Animal Health or Human Health or Medical Industry

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Strong embedded system experience and control of electro-mechanical subsystems.
ASIC experience
Design experience for high volume injection molded components
Experience working within complex systems and large integration teams
Medical ( in vitro ) diagnostics experience is desirable

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
