Responsibilities:
In order to provide best-in-class support for the Elanco Business Unit Elanco IT has the responsibility to provide on-going integrated services in support of Elancos recent business development acquisitions and potential future business acquisitions globally. Elanco IT in partnership with the GBIP team will be supporting the Elanco business areas throughout the supply chain and commercial integration including Contract Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Distribution activities for the newly acquired products and substantial growth in global markets. The primary focus of this Elanco IT role will be partnering with both the Elanco supply chain and financial organizations and various other Elanco business areas in support of the increasingly complex Elanco business. Initial priority will be product data integration and design within the current Global Elanco Commercial organization with a heavy emphasis on GBIP supply chain and commercial design and processes.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Business Analyst 75%
Support with Elanco IT Consultants on Elanco IT acquisition team Partner with IT colleagues at Elanco and Lilly to set implementation direction for overall application design, migration/transfer schedules and validation/testing strategies for product acquisitions
Partner with IT colleagues to drive integration roadmap of services & projects from deal announcement through 100 % integration Challenge status quo given timelines, effectively influencing stakeholders regarding risks, trade-offs, compromises
Establish credibility as a Elanco Global IT subject matter expert Serve as the IT liaison between Elanco and other IT organizations - supporting related systems, data integration and processes.
Proactively identify issues and implement mitigation strategies
Contribute to the development and monitoring of project plans
Consult with others in similar roles or past projects and external firms on IT Business Development best practices. Stay abreast of market or technical trends.
Provide subject matter expertise across Commercial and Supply business areas & application portfolios, with a comprehensive knowledge of commercial and supply chain requirements
Provide oversight to contract resource work deliverables
Support customer acceptance testing
Technology Integrator 15%
Work with GBIP to develop needed integration/interface architecture.
Work with technologists & quality experts to develop needed application turnover processes & deliverables initial primary focus will be commercial and supply processes
Provide review of technical designs
Quality Analyst 10%
Ensure adherence to software quality assurance and validation processes
Create, review, and maintain documentation to support the validation of systems
Ensure execution of integration and system test scripts
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Self-motivated individual who can work independently, adjust to changing priorities quickly, and learn new business areas fully.
Excellence in influencing colleagues to complete work in a timely fashion, while at the same time balancing the expectations of management on accountability and appropriate ownership.
Excellence in oral and writing skills demonstrating the ability to take complex changes or impacts to the business and applying them in easy to understand and simplified communications.
