Responsibilities:
Develop simulation models that use input/output parameters to predict the future delivery of the global R&D innovation pipeline and take into consideration variable external and internal risk factors.
This model will allow the Portfolio Manager to evaluate multiple new pipeline opportunities at various stages in conjunction with the current portfolio and predict necessary resources, timing, and risk associated with desired level of innovation delivery.
Develop stochastic simulation models and apply an understanding of both current and future customer value drivers in the Animal Health marketplace focused on defining highly-valued solutions to customer needs.
Gather and analyze industry, market, economic, and scientific data.
Using statistically and economically-sound methods develop tools that can model the current and future animal health market potential.
Work in collaboration with New Product Planning and internal/external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to help create global market potential assessments for new innovative solutions.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science Degree
3 years of previous experience in statistical modeling techniques in Animal Health, Pharma, Biotech or other life sciences area.
Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
MS or PhD in associated fields.
Position requires 10% travel (including international).
Previous experience in working with New Product Planning, Portfolio Management, Marketing, Finance, or Business Analyst evaluating potential product value.
Working knowledge of food and/or companion animal health markets.
Exceptional inter-personal skills to facilitate cross-functional teamwork, alignment, and delivery of desired outcomes.
Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Detail-oriented with demonstrated proficiency in statistical modeling techniques using JMP, JMP scripting, SAS, Crystal Ball, and Microsoft Excel; also experience using MS Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; develops presentations and writes reports and summaries with thoroughness, clarity, brevity, and business acuity.
Advanced problem solving skills demonstrated through experience in working with multiple large data sets, identifying issues and alternatives, and drawing well-reasoned conclusions which provide desired outcomes.
High learning agility related to disease and scientific information for multiple species.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; must be willing to work independently in an ambiguous, high-paced environment and able to adapt to fast-changing priorities and workload.
Adept at locating and using commodity prices and other key market data.
Familiarity with animal health production models and the ability to translate economic simulation data to key business case drivers.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
