The company's products, which are used include pressure-sensitive materials for labels and graphic applications; tapes and other bonding solutions for industrial, medical, and retail applications The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and the facility.
Activities include both planned and predictive maintenance and break-down repair.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work any shift and overtime as needed.
Must possess advanced aptitude to apply mechanical and electrical principles in various troubleshooting and repair activities.
Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
Performs preventative maintenance functions as directed or as needed.
Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, production machines and equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools.
Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding.
Works from schematics, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
Improvises acceptable fixes to get equipment running promptly.
Cleans and lubricates parts and equipment.
Inspects completed repairs.
Orders replacement parts.
Requisition new parts and equipment.
All other duties as assigned Associate Requirements Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $25.
00 - $30.
00 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law.
Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range.
The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience.
An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
