Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department in a hotel setting - Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation - Train, supervise, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff members - Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping personnel - Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to cleaning standards - Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and ensure smooth operations - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment - Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping services - Collaborate with maintenance department for repairs and maintenance needs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Note:
Experience in custodial or laundry operations is a plus.
