Mechanical Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for an end client in Greenfield, IN. This person will be responsible for supporting a project building, developing, and designing an automated battery module line. This is a large capital equipment product which makes large batteries for energy storage. He/she will be in charge of evaluating, reviewing, and clarifying design requirements and architecture for multiple subsystems. He/she will be assembling prototypes, check the prototypes for fit/form/functionality, and will need the ability to troubleshoot as issues arise. Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or 4
years of work experience as an engineerPDM experience (examples:
Windchill, Autodesk Vault, Solidworks PDM, Altium 365, Upchain, OpenBOM, Siemens, or Delogue)Experience with sheet metals, geering, actuators, motors, chasis, etc.Experience using Autodesk InventorExperience making 2D and 3D drawings/models Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceCapital equipment experience Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
