Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the physical movement, documentation, and management of all frozen materials.
Functions include putting away bulk products from production, picking orders for processing, staging orders for shipping, and conducting cycle counts for inventory reconciliation.
Responsibilities - Put away products from production and processing with correct documentation - Focus on maintaining the product integrity and temperature during transportation and storage - Locate and gather all materials needed in a timely and efficient manner - Weigh out products used in operations with accuracy and aseptic techniques - Count finished products received before freezer storage accurately - Return unused bulk products to the correct location in the freezer - Provide complete and accurate documentation - Follow all safety, quality, and inventory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Maintain freezer organization and cleanliness - Cleaning/sanitizing of all work areas as prescribed by the Master Sanitation schedule - Maintain Safe Quality Food (SQF) systems and report any concerns to Management - Assist other departments as directed by the Supervisor Qualifications/Requirements - MUST BE WILLING TO WORK IN A FREEZER ENVIRONMENT FOR EXTENDED PERIODS - High School diploma or equivalent - Able to work in -45 degree temperatures for extended periods.
- Able to lift/carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to respond with a high sense of urgency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Able to work in a bending/standing position for extended periods.
Expected Scheduling:
Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:
30pm OR 7am to 3:
30pm with overtime as needed
