Responsibilities:
Develop and apply an understanding of both current and future value drivers in the Animal Health marketplace focused on finding highly-valued solutions to customer needs.
Market Analysis: Work in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and External Partners to create initial market assessments for new opportunities and facilitate cross-functional meetings to define the strategies that maximize value of new innovative solutions for our customers.
Develop expertise to facilitate and execute core processes: Business Term Sheet Projections/Platform Valuations, Initial Marketing Assessments, Draft Launch Labels, Project Income Statement and Business Cases, Opportunity/Risk Assessments, and Market Research.
Initiate and integrate primary and secondary market research study results into analyses of the market space to ensure that customer unmet needs are identified and insights are brought to bear.
Provide accurate and timely information to and collaborate with key internal customers such as Acquisitions, R&D teams, Global Marketing, Regional Innovators and the Research Leadership Teams.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science degree and MBA required.
3 years of previous New Product Planning, Portfolio Management, Marketing, Finance, or Business Analyst experience.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Animal Health, Pharma, Biotech or other life sciences experience.
Previous experience in conducting business valuations, market analyses, and launching new pharmaceutical/biotech/life science products.
Working knowledge of food and/or companion animal health markets.
Exceptional inter-personal skills to facilitate cross-functional teamwork, alignment, and delivery of desired outcomes.
Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Detail-oriented with demonstrated proficiency in external market analysis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; develops presentations and writes reports and summaries with thoroughness, clarity, brevity, and business acuity.
Business acumen with financial background for business cases and market research design, analysis, and interpretation.
Previous experience in sorting through information and data (qualitative and quantitative), identifying issues and alternatives, and drawing well-reasoned conclusions.
Proven track record of positively influencing in the absence of direct authority and communicating across diverse internal and external groups.
High learning agility related to disease and scientific information for multiple species.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; must be willing to work independently in an ambiguous, high-paced environment and able to adapt to fast-changing priorities and workload.
Position requires 10% travel (including international).

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
