Responsibilities:
The Elanco Business Unit Operations and Strategy role will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and shaping key activities related to overall Elanco BU operations. Additionally, this role will serve as a key enabler in executing Elancos value-based strategy.
Key activities include (but are not limited to):
Manage, Shape, and Lead the Elanco Quarterly Business Review
Further establish Elanco governance structure after 2013 re-organization
Lead global scorecard integration across Elanco hubs (US/CA, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America)
Total responsibility for quarterly Global Elanco employee meeting
Maximize Elanco leadership capacity and connectivity across the organization
Planning, forecasting, and reporting responsibility for Global Operations team budget
Leading strategic projects that enable the Elanco strategy and organizational structure
Be a trusted resource to support strategic initiatives driven by the Advisor of Operations and Strategy
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
3-5 years of experience

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Travel Requirements - 10-15% (some OUS travel may be required)
Excellent project management skills and demonstrated experience managing both small and complex projects
Demonstrated ability to balance competing interests, priorities, and organizational needs while still meeting timelines
Clear understanding of commercialization, development, and support functions related to the business unit strategy
Ability to work with and influence senior management
Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to communicate succinctly to various audiences
Network that spans a wide variety of functional areas
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate and recognize systemic problems, diagnose root causes and work with functional leadership to influence corrective actions
Ability to establish team credibility and facilitate operational agreement
