The Global Market Access department, where this position is located, is responsible for communications, government relations, industry relations and scientific activities aimed at supporting sale of Elanco products in markets worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Exercise responsibility for analyzing and interpreting global social media conversations, and ultimately developing and implementing communications strategies based on data trends and analysis.
Serve as a subject matter expert on animal health issues, interpreting large amounts of data and online information.
Aid in creating and implementing communications strategies and tactical plans for major company initiatives, projects, and crises.
Provide formative analysis of data, in support of planning processed using tools, updates, yearly summaries, and ad hoc requests.
Distill complex and high volumes of data into simple KPIs and data visualizations, dashboards and scorecards.
Provide actionable insights and tactical recommendations and assist in creating and implementing the leader-led communications strategy.
Manage the collection and synthesizing of data for clients across the social PESO (paid, earned, shared, and owned) spectrum.
Understand customers business requirements and design reporting and analysis approaches tailored to needs.
Responsible for identifying key performance indicators and goals for social media initiatives.
Stay current with both agriculture and social media measurement industry trends.
Foster and maintain relationships with multiple agencies who often work together.
Foster and maintain relationships with multiple internal Elanco groups.
Deliver tracking analysis and reports to support client campaigns and programs, creative and recommended solutions.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in communications, social media, information technology or related field
5 years of advertising, marketing, new media, or communications experience
3 years of social media analysis is required
3 years experience with analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting social-related data from standard software packages and customer databases.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Masters degree a plus
Agriculture focus is a bonus
Experience with SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Omniture, Web Trends, also a plus
Experience providing evaluative volumetric and content analysis of earned social data working with social media monitoring tools.
Aptitude for understanding and managing issues, particularly those in the agricultural and animal health space.
Skilled user of Excel, Tableau, Power Pivot.
Solid understanding of the fundamentals of digital and social marketing.
Demonstrated knowledge and personal interest in the online and social media space
Ability to write clear and concise presentations for customers and internal stakeholders summarizing data insights, outcomes, and implications in straight-forward and enlightening ways for clients
Ability to collaborate and work well with others
Ability to contribute to increasing level of innovation in data and analytics
Ability to meet deadlines
