Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the technical delivery and support of IT solutions for the Elanco R&D IT component. The technologist will be responsible for all phases of the systems development life cycle for all assigned applications and projects. The technologist will work with business analyst team mates as well as designated vendors to create new or enhance existing applications and maintain system validation.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in IT or 5 years of experience supporting and developing IT systems/applications.
Demonstrated experience leveraging RDBMS technologies (Oracle and MS SQL Server) to delivery IT solutions.
Experience with reporting technologies (SSRS, Crystal Reports, Tableau, etc.)
Understanding and experience with XML
Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.
Additional Skills/Preferences
Experience developing with Microsoft .NET framework and technology stack (ASP.NET, C#)
Strong SDLC knowledge and experience
Proven ability to execute as a member of a team on IT solution implementations
Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate with both business and IT partners UNIX experience
Experience following of computer system quality policies and procedures as well as experience
supporting validated systems in a regulated environment
Experience in the Animal Health industry or R&D environment, with a solid understand of relevant processes and trends.
Additional Information
This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration for up to 2 years.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
