Responsibilities
The Elanco Knowledge Solutions (EKS) team implements foundational and innovative platforms to provide value to Elanco customers through data analytics, product assurance, and non-traditional innovation. The IT Associate Consultant will be responsible for consulting, development, and implementation of tools and technologies to support these initiatives.
Consult with species leaders on innovation-driven initiatives, including identification and assessments of new opportunities, and leading technical aspects of projects in development.
Stay abreast of new innovations in data acquisition, management, virtualization, analytics, and reporting; Lead efforts to leverage technology for EKS platforms.
Deep dive into species area(s) for industry trends, customer challenges, analytics opportunities, and emerging technologies within the field.
Maintain line of sight and connection to customers, to include site visits or project-related interactions
Develop a clear understanding of the existing infrastructure and application environments and provide support directly or through third-party partners
Work closely with development partners and lead technical aspects of projects related to infrastructure environment, devices/equipment, telecom/connectivity, 3rd party software tools
Serve as point of contact for team members for general technical questions and maintain a line of site into enterprise teams to support the rollout of corporate IT initiatives.
Possess awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal or quality requirements impacting the business areas, and ensures solution requirements comply.
Willing to be hands-on with project deliverables and able to demonstrate a pattern of success in using analytic methods to solve business problems.
Ability to clearly communicate with and persuasively present technical and non-technical information to a wide variety of audiences, specifically to senior leaders.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Informatics, or Life/Ag Science
Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be
employed in the United States. Lilly
does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g.,
H-1B or TN status) for this position.

Strong understanding or interest of the animal health industry
The candidate should have excellent communication and analytical skills (both written and oral)
Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
Demonstrated learning agility and desire to continue to acquire expertise in area of focus.
Flexibility and ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast paced environment.
Knowledge of and/or experience with tools for data acquisition and analysis such as Excel, SAS, relational database concepts,and application interfaces.

Position based in Greenfield, IN
Occasional travel within the US (5%);
This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
